    The George and Joan White Howell Environmental Education Scholarship is available for high school seniors interested in pursuing a degree in environmental science at Campbellsville University.

  • Casey Youth Coalition receives state award for programming

    The CYC (Casey County Youth Coalition) of Casey County received statewide recognition from the Kentucky Youth Empowerment System for its efforts to reduce youth alcohol, tobacco and illicit drug use.

  • Casey County schools awarded $4,095 in PRIDE grants

    SOMERSET — Eastern Kentucky PRIDE announced recently it will award $4,095 for hands-on environmental education projects in Casey County during the 2017/18 school year.

    Overall, PRIDE will award $119,155 to educators across 42 counties of southern and eastern Kentucky through the PRIDE Environmental Education Grant Program, which was made possible by a grant to PRIDE from the Appalachian Regional Commission.
