    — Kentucky Blood Center will have a blood drive Thursday, May 19 from noon-6 p.m. at the Casey County Extension Office education building.
    — Healthy Cooking Class will be held Thursday, May 19 at 6 p.m. at the Casey County Public Library. The topic is “How Do My Food Choices Affect My Mood.” The free event, presented by Ashley Price PA, Bluegrass Clinic, includes a light supper. Call 606-787-5323 for information.

    n National Day of Prayer will be observed Thursday, May 5, at 12 p.m. at the Casey County Courthouse.
    n There will be a meeting of Concerned Citizens of Casey County to discuss the issues related to the sale of alcohol in our community on Saturday, May 7 at 4 p.m. at the Gateway Park picnic area.
    n A chicken and ham supper will be held Saturday, May 7 at 6 p.m. at Butchertown Community Center.
