Rebels football turns in another historic season

-A A +A
By Quincy Burt

While the second-round, 44-41 loss to Powell County still stings, there is plenty to help the Casey County Rebel Football team keep their heads held high like finishing a Casey record 6th in the AP poll.

This is a team that had just come off a historically magical season in 2016 and, outside of those associated with the program, there weren’t many lining up to say that the 2017 installment would be knocking on the record book door.

Instead, before the ink could dry on records by the 2016 team, the 2017 squad made their own adjustments.
