Patels plead guilty to gambling machine charges

During an Oct. 18 court date in Casey County District Court, Mamta Jitendrakumar Patel, Jack Patel and Mukehabai Kantilal Patel pleaded guilty and were sentenced for charges of possession of a gambling device.

Mamta Patel pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a gambling device and was sentenced to a fine of $250 plus fines with no probation with the two counts because Patel had very recently purchased the business. All gambling machines were to be forfeited to the proper state or local agency.
