One injured in a two-vehicle collision

The Kentucky Sate Police is investigating a collision involving two people from Hustonville.

According to a Kentucky State Police press release, Sergeant Chase Willis responded to a two-vehicle accident on Ky Highway 906, two miles north of Liberty, at 2:20 p.m. Dec. 31, 2018.

Anthony Smith, 34, of Hustonville, was driving a 1998 Mazda pickup heading southbound on 906 when his driver’s side tire blew out, causing his vehicle to pull into the northbound lane.

Brenda Ellis, 53, of Hustonville was in the path, driving a 2004 Ford pickup.
