McAnelly named to Board of Directors at Casey County Bank

David Craig McAnelly has joined the Board of Directors, Casey Bank Corporation.
McAnelly will be filling the seat previously held by Humphrey Elliott.  
McAnelly is a native of Casey County, the son of David F. and Renee McAnelly of Liberty. He is currently Director of Industrial and Business Development for the Bluegrass Area Development District located in Lexington.
McAnelly has more than 22 years experience in the field of regional planning and industrial development. He also serves as Executive Director for Paris-Bourbon County Economic Development Authority, Executive Director for Global Opportunities for Kentucky, founding member of the Central Kentucky Inventors and Entrepreneurs Council, Officer for Bluegrass International Trade Association and served on several state, regional and local advisory boards.
McAnelly is an alumnus of the University of Kentucky with a bachelors degree in planning and political science.  
A Certified Community Development Block Grant Administrator, he has written and administered numerous federal or state development grants for local governments.
McAnelly coordinated several bond issues during his career beginning with a multi-million bond issue to support the formation of an insurance company providing coverage to local governments, as well as several industrial revenue bonds for new and expanding industry in Kentucky. McAnelly has been instrumental in the planning, funding and development of seven industrial parks during his career, creating thousands of jobs for their communities.
McAnelly and his wife, Kate, reside in Lexington, along with their two children, Elizabeth Anne and David Lewis.  They are members of Centenary Methodist Church and active with various civic and community organizations. He continues to volunteer with Boy Scouts of America and coached Little League baseball for several years.
