Lady Eagles fall in KCAA State opening round

-A A +A
By Quincy Burt

Sports Correspondent

A tumultuous season of Galilean Volleyball came to a close last week when the Lady Eagles traveled to Louisville to play Sayers Classical Academy in the opening round of the KCAA State Volleyball Tournament.

Tumultuous is only a descriptor of the season because there were so many matches that came down to an unforced error here and a lack of effort there.

Galilean even had eventual champions Trinity on the ropes in one of their closest matches of their undefeated season.
