House still out of compliance

The Wilson heirs, who own the house on Beldon Avenue that has been in violation of the City of Liberty’s nuisance ordinance for years, have asked zoning enforcement officer Randy Dial for a letter of compliance.

Mayor Steve Sweeney told the council at its Sept. 9 meeting that while the property has been cleaned up quite a bit, it is still not in compliance. However, the back property taxes have all been paid.

Although there have been discussions that the property has been bought, or plans to be bought, Sweeney said he has yet to see a deed.
