Green River Outdoors meets all of Casey County’s outdoor needs

With an abundant wildlife in Casey County, it is no surprise that the region is home to a hefty number of outdoors men and women.
As outdoor seasons come to an end, hunters and anglers leave their stands and fishing holes to repair, replace, or purchase new equipment to make the next season even better.
Luckily for Casey countians, Green River Outdoors Store Inc., in Liberty is fully prepared to meet anyone’s outdoor needs.
Green River Outdoors has a vast selection of hand guns, long guns, hunting rifles and assault rifles, with manufacturers including, but not limited to, Glock, Ruger, and Smith and Wesson.
Not only does Green River Outdoors sell an assortment of firearms, but they also offer a variety of ammunition, including ammo that is deemed “hard-to-get.”
“We have a limited supply of hard-to-get ammo like .22LR and .308, depending on availability,” said Tracy Hebrock, co-owner of Green River Outdoors.
Firearms are not the only outdoor items hanging on store walls at Green River Outdoors. The store offers a line of work and muck boots for men, women, and children including top brand names such as Red Wing and Justin Boots.
Inside the store, customers will also find a glass display of several different Case Knives to choose from, as well as Harley Davidson knives.
For Casey County homeowners, Green River Outdoors has several Liberty safes for sale, as well as top-of-the-line outdoor equipment including chain saws, weed eaters, and blowers.
“In the spring we’ll have a long line of lawn mowers from Cub Cadet, Exmark and Husqvarna,” said Mark Beard, co-owner of Green Rivers Outdoors.
According to Beard and Hebrock, the spring season will bring a whole slew of new items to the store.
Whether you’re looking for a new turkey call, a pair of work boots, or a mower to trim the lawn, Green River Outdoors is prepared to meet your outdoor needs.
Located at 938 N Wallace Wilkinson Blvd. in Liberty, the store is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
