The 9th Region Girl’s Golf Tournament, held at Burnside State Resort, was the last week of September and the Casey County girls golf team was able to finish fifth. The top two teams advance to state.

“I thought we were one of the top three teams there,” coach Brad Vaughn said. “But, we didn’t finish where we should have.”

Seniors Alyx Streeval and Allison Jaynes shot a 90 and a 93 respectively while sophomore Beth Streeval tied Jaynes with a 93 of her own as junior Taylor Beard shot a 135.
