Galilean Quilt Auction to mark 20th anniversary

-A A +A
By Larry Rowell

In spite of the down economy, Jerry Tucker has faith that this year’s quilt auction at the Galilean Home will be the best yet.

The annual event, now in its 20th year, will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Galilean School’s gymnasium at 712 South Fork Church Road on South Fork Ridge.

Tucker said that the auction will offer about 300 items — quilts, of course, and hand-made Amish furniture, antique watches and hand-quilted wall hangings, just to name a few items.
