The Casey County Fiscal Court on April 16 continued its cycle of purchasing brand new trucks and getting rid of ones that are a year old.

At a meeting, Judge Executive Randy Dial said that he had gotten a single bid from Worldwide Equipment, which is the State of Kentucky’s bid, on three 2019 tri-axle dump trucks. The price would be $141,922 apiece and he recommended that the court accept the bid for three of them.

Magistrate Kenny Morgan moved to accept and purchase the trucks, with Magistrate Bart Woodrum seconding. The vote was 5-0 in favor.
