As the 12th Region Girls Tennis Tournament entered semi-final play, three Casey County Lady Racket Rebels were still in the field.
With State Tournament bids secured, it was all about Region hardware. Casey would take runner up as a team and play some very competitive tennis in the final two days of the event.
Amber Pierce dominated her way through the first three rounds at Regionals setting up a date with the number-two seed in the tourney from Boyle County, Anna Duncan.
Pierce gave Duncan all she wanted in a heavily-contested, semi-final match.
