Liberty house fire under investigation

A house fire last Wednesday night may be the work of arsonists.
According to Liberty Fire Chief Donnie Wilson, it took less than an hour to put out a fire at a vacant house on Woodrum Ridge Road.
"It looked like someone had broke into it and set the fire," Wilson said.
Kentucky State Police Detective Alex Wesley confirmed that the fire was, and is, still being investigated and that the house had been "potentially set on fire."
The house at 178 Woodrum Ridge Road was owned by Tracey Huntsinger, but no one was living there at the time.
"(The house) had no electric, no utilities hooked up," Wesley said.
Liberty Police Officer Randy Dial assisted in the investigation.
