Boosters give $17,000 for rubberization of track

By Brittany Johnson
Staff Writer

Members of the Casey County High School track team and the team's boosters club came through Monday night as they presented the Casey County Board of Education with a check for $17,000 to help rubberize the CCHS track.
Originally, it was estimated that it would cost around $40,000 to make improvements to the track so that the team could host meets, a cost that the track boosters and the school board agreed to split. The $17,000 was added to an already existing $3,000 in the account.
