It's a matter of supply and demand. Sound familiar?
Casey Countians have heard that line when it comes to the high price of gasoline recently, but now supply and demand is affecting the local water supply.
Too much water usage and too little available water has prompted the East Casey County Water District to issue a boil water advisory until further notice.

Casey County High School graduates 155 at commencement

One hundred and fifty-five students and a principal said goodbye to Casey County High School on Thursday.
About 150 of the graduates and Principal Tim Goodlett took the CCHS stage for the final time at commencement exercises as Goodlett presented the graduates with their high school diplomas.
And the graduates, per tradition, did a little presenting of their own.
County's FY '08 budget down by $1.8 million

The county's new budget for 2007-08 is down from last year, but Judge-Executive Ronald Wright said that is nothing to be alarmed about.
The county's projected $6.6 million budget is less than the current budget of $8.4 million, but the discrepancy of about $1.8 million is state grants.
"Last year's budget had state grants for the college, the park, and the ag center," Wright explained.
Medical helicopters transport two
Medical helicopters were called in to transport two
accident victims to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington following separate accidents.
According to Deputy Kevin Roberts, Rose Wilson, 84, of 1051 Byrd Ridge Road, Liberty, was airlifted to the Lexington hospital following a 9:15 a.m. accident Sunday that occurred on Strong Branch Road.
