By Donna Carman

Attorneys in the case involving five students who allege they were bullied by other students in the Casey County school district said three weeks ago they were making progress on the case. However, on Monday, the case was back in court.

As the result of seven days off of school, Casey County students, teachers and staff will add two days to the school calendar in the coming months.
School will be in session Monday on President's Day, Feb. 19, and on March 16, said Dale Wilson, director of pupil personnel for Casey County schools.
Wilson said to reach this decision, he called each principal and staff members voted whether they wanted to remain off those days or to attend those days and be released earlier from the year.
He said nearly twice as many staff members voted to go to school as voted not to.
