The primary election is less than six weeks away, and there are some changes for voters to consider.
Casey County Court Clerk Eva Miller said poll workers for the upcoming election have been trained on the county's new disability compliant voting machines, as required by the Help America Vote Act, a new federal law. Training is overseen by the Kentucky Disabilities Coalition Inc.
However, standard training required prior to any election will be provided to all poll workers by Harp Enterprises of Lexington at 4 p.m. April 18 at Gateway Park.
