Teammate Shelby Stringer also cleared 8’0” but bettered Nagy in scratches to take first while Nagy took second. Both ladies will advance to the state meet, which takes place this Friday in Louisville.
Running Rebels racing to state

The running Rebels will again send multiple athletes to the 2A Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) State Track and Field meet Friday, several of which will be vying for top eight finishes.
Micah Smith was the lone boy to place in the regional meet last weekend but his two first place finishes reflected well on the Casey program. Smith took first in both the high jump and the pole vault and Head Coach Matt Willoughby expected nothing less.
