FAMILY ENGAGEMENTS
Ralph and Peggy Burton of Liberty are pleased to announce the engagement andforthcoming wedding of their daughter, Dawn Michelle Smith to Buford Edwards II, son of Buford (and Loretta) Edwards, the late Mary Jolene Edwards, and late Barbara Edwards of Stanford. Smith is a 1992 graduate of Casey County High School and is pursuing an education degree from Eastern Kentucky University. She is employed by the Lincoln County Board of Education. Edwards is a 1993 graduate of Lincoln County High School, a 1999 graduate of Berea College with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and a 2008 graduate of the University of Louisville with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. He is employed with the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Cabinet for Health and Family Services. An open wedding is scheduled for Saturday July 12, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Stanford Nazarene Church, 73 Elizabeth Avenue, Stanford. A reception will follow at the Stanford Baptist Church Christian Life Center. All family and friends are invited to attend.
Huff-York Darrell Huff of Dunnville and JoAnn Huff of Russell Springs would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashley Jo Huff to Cody Preston York, son of Marvin and Kathy York of Campbellsville. Ashley is the granddaughter of Ruth Huff of Russell Springs and the late Luther Huff and Faye Rowland of Kings Mountain and the late Sherman Rowland. Cody is the grandson of Preston York of Burkesville and the late Madeline York and the late Charles and Josephine Noel of Liberty. The wedding will take place Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. at the home of Gary and Dinah Burton of Windsor. A reception will follow the ceremony. All family and friends are invited to attend.
Derringer-Brown Wendy Lynne Derringer and Jonathan Derek Brown would like to announce their forthcoming marriage Friday, July 4, 2008 at 5 p.m. at the Creston Baptist Church. Wendy is the daughter of Roger Dale Derringer and Marilyn Derringer, both of Liberty. Jonathan is the son of John and Angila Brown of Liberty. A four-hour reception will follow the ceremony. All family and friends are invited to attend.
