ANNA G. MURPHY

Anna Grace Murphy of Liberty died Friday, June 20, 2008 at the Liberty Care Center. She was 85.
Born in Liberty on Feb. 2, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Bee and Mary Foster Lee.
She was a homemaker, a school teacher, the widow of the late Gene Murphy, and a member of Liberty United Methodist Church and the Casey County Homemakers.
Survivors include a daughter, Rosemary (and Allen) Sparr of Liberty; a son, Lee (and Cara) Murphy of Liberty; four grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth and Josh Sparr and Derek and Kelcie Murphy; and a sister, Patria Russell of Liberty.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Everett Lee and Charles Marion Lee.
Funeral services were June 23 at the Liberty United Methodist Church by the Rev. Bruce Lee. Burial was in the Glenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mark Russell, Henry and Mike Lee, P.D. Depp, Josh Sparr and Derek Murphy.
Bartle Funeral Home Liberty was in charge of arrangements.
