    Dec. 12

    Stephen H. Clark pleaded guilty to DUI first offense. He was sentenced to 90 days license suspension, ADE classes and fine due.

    Bobby Todd Richards pleaded not guilty to assault in the fourth degree domestic violence minor injury. His next court date is Jan. 4.

    Dec 12

    James H. Maynard, 63, of Dunnville, was arrested for a charge of terroristic threatening in the third degree, after a woman said he brandished a pistol and told her he would “blow her brains out.”

    Dec. 19

    Robert G. Woods, 53, of Liberty, was arrested for terroristic threatening after he allegedly came to a woman’s home on Dec. 12 and told her he would kill her. He pleaded not guilty on Dec. 19, and has court Jan. 4.

    Dec. 11

    James Robert Bagby Jr. had a jury trial set for 9 a.m. Jan. 11 for charges of possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense (methamphetamine); tampering with physical evidence; fleeing or evading, first degree (on foot); assault third degree on a police or probation officer; resisting arrest; escape, second degree; DUI; speeding, 10 miles over the limit.

  • Police News

    Zach Montgomery, 23, of Yosemite, was cited for a Feb. 14, 2017, case in which a 1994 GMC pickup and a 16-foot long bumper hitch trailer with three rolls of hay was stolen.

    He was charged with theft by unlawful taking auto over $500 but under $10,000, and theft by unlawful taking farm equipment over $500 but under $10,000.

    His case was bound over to the Casey County grand jury on Dec. 21.

    Ericia Lemons pleaded guilty to no operators/moped license and failure to maintain insurance second offense.

    Phillip Darrin Means pleaded guilty to failure to maintain license, no/expired registration plates and DUI second offense.

    Argenis H Gamez was arraigned on charges of assault fourth degree domestic violence minor injury. Continued to be dismissed in 6 months if no further complaints.

    The following information was taken from records available at the Casey County Courthouse.

    Dec. 11

    William D. Brown pleaded not guilty to a DUI, fourth or subsequent offense; and driving on a suspended license, second offense in five years. He will have a pretrial hearing at 1 p.m. on Jan. 8.

    Israel V. Smith pleaded guilty to trafficking in a controlled substance, first degree, first offense (methamphetamine). Judge Judy Vance Murphy will sentence him on Jan. 22.
