    Nov. 21

    Randy Lee Cain pleaded not guilty to a charge of fourth degree assault domestic with minor injury. He has a pretrial conference Dec. 14.

    Inajean Wardrip pleaded not guilty to a charge of criminal mischief in the second degree. He has a pretrial conference Dec. 14.

    James Calhoun pleaded guilty of five counts of misdemeanor theft by deception, under $500. He was sentenced to a suspended 20 days in jail, with all fines to be paid in full by May 24.

    The following are cases heard in Casey County District Court

    Filed Nov. 13

    Nicholas K. Floyd, 35, of Hustonville, pleaded not guilty Nov. 21 to a felony charge of Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm. The arresting officer was patrolling Denton Elmore Road on Nov. 11 and came across Floyd, who was driving a side-by-side ATV with a rifle in the passenger seat. Dispatch told the officer that Floyd was a convicted felon.

    Destiny N. Bradley, 22, was charged with Assault 4th Degree Domestic Violence and alleged to have struck her mother repeatedly on Oct. 31 because her mother was yelling at her boyfriend. She pleaded not guilty and has a Nov. 16 court date.
