    Bruce’s Chapel Church had 42 in attendance on Sunday morning. Bro. Mike Edwards’ devotional was from Romans 6:11-23. Bro. Ephraim Burkholder had children’s sermon “The Gift of Liberty, “was from Luke 4. Bro. Creech Richardson’s message “Blessed,” was from Matthew 5:1-11. Sharon Byrd celebrated her birthday.

    There were 46 in attendance on Sunday morning. Bro. Preston McKnight’s devotional was from Luke 13:22. Bro. Chris and Callie Hatter had Children’s Sermon “Jesus Loves You” from John 3:16 and 15:13 and 1 Corinthian’s 16:14. Bro. Creech Richardson’s message “Love,” was from Galatians 5:3 and Proverbs 5:18.

    Brush Creek Pentecostal Church had 79 attending Sunday morning services. Bro Scott Cochran brought the message from John 4: 1-24. Children’s church had 12 children. Pledges were recited by everyone. Special song was by Mia Thomas.

    Mt. Olive

    Attendance at Mt. Olive Christian Church was 46 for Sunday school. The lesson, “A Bold Faith”, was from Daniel 3:19-23, 26-28. Worship service had 82. The message, “Peace”, was from Philippians 4:1-9. There was no evening service. Wednesday at 7 p.m. is Bible Study. We’ll be studying from Ecclesiastes 5.

    Birthdays were Danielle Weddle and Kaitlyn Sallee.

    A brand-new year is here and I’m excited to see what the Lord has for us! Keeping Christ at the center of our thoughts takes a great deal of discipline and determination but so does everything else we really care about. It comes down to how serious we are about knowing God and how willing we are to give Him total control of our life.

    The weather was cold but we had a good attendance with 51 attending. Pastor Bearl King brought the message this beautiful morning on faith. Children’s church had 8 attending. Pledges were recited and special song by Abby Atwood. The New Year Watch Night Service was seen in with special singing by Carol King, daughter Amy, granddaughter Becky and son Greg. Everyone enjoyed the service.
