    CHURCH

    Frey’s Creek Baptist Church, Ky. 906, will have Bible study every Monday night at 7 p.m.

    New Testament Baptist Church will have a singing Sunday, Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. featuring the Crossroads Quartet.

    Mt. Calvary Baptist Church will have “No Trick, God’s Treat” Friday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 9 p.m. for all ages. There will be a hayride, food and drinks and games. No costumes please.

    Slate Hill United Methodist Church will have a revival Oct. 26-28 at 7 p.m. with Bro. Creech Richardson as speaker. Special singing nightly.

    Casey County Jamboree will be held Oct. 17 and 24 at 7 p.m. on the Liberty Green, beside the Senior Citizens Center. It will feature Casey County grand old seniors and local musicians, Chuck Williams, Hugh Fletcher, Gilbert Mondie and Argel Meeks and more. There will be clogging, square dancing and hayrides. There will also be pinto beans and peach cobbler.

    The Hattitudes will be going to Renfro Valley Wednesday, Oct. 15. Meet at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10 a.m.

    Gateway Park Board meeting will be held Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 5 p.m. at the park office.

    The Aglow Lighthouse meeting will be held Friday, Oct. 10 at the Bread of Life back room. Meal at 6 p.m. and meeting at 6:45 p.m. Speaker will be Kimberly Hacker of Cincinnati speaking on the “Gathering of the Hearts.” A drawing will be held for a free buffet.

    1547 Friendship Homemakers Club will meet Thursday, Oct. 9 at the extension center at 7 p.m.

    Quality Parenting Classes (Encouraging Mutual Respect) will be held Friday, Oct. 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Somerset. The classes are free and to register, call Sharon Mandt at 606-678-5751.

    A benefit singing, auction and supper will be held Saturday, Oct. 4 at 2 p.m. for Nancy Dehart Leake at Mt. Calvary Community Church in Dunnville. Singers will be the Royal Heirs, Coffey Family, Glory Train, Hilltop Trinity Singers and Jamie and Annetta Daniels.
