Welby Thomas Jr., 77

Welby Thomas Jr. of Russell Springs died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012 at his home. He was 77.
Born in Russell Springs on Dec. 17, 1934, he was the son of the late Welby and Rose Ellen Withers Thomas.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Thomas of Russell Springs; two daughters, Kathie Conn and Karen Hopper, both of Russell Springs; a son, Kenton Thomas of Russell Springs; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother; and a sister.
Funeral services were Feb. 4 at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Mac Thomas and Bro. Jim Robertson officiating.
