State Sen. Higdon ‘happy to be back’ as districts change

Sen. Jimmy Higdon, R-Lebanon, is back in Casey County’s 14th Senate District — as least for now.
Just five days after Gov. Steve Beshear signed the redistricting plan for state legislators into law, Higdon was at Liberty’s City Hall to address this and other legislative issues.
However, House Minority Floor Leader Jeff Hoover, R-Jamestown, along with others, filed a lawsuit challenging the House’s redistricting map in Franklin Circuit Court Thursday.
