Storms have been good to me; at least they have been for my photography career here in Kentucky.
The ice storm in January 2009, just after I relocated from Indiana, gave me some good subject matter and produced a prize-winning photo for me.
The tornado that hit Casey County in October of that year is what first got my photos printed in The Casey County News.
The flood that hit in May 2010 was the next thing that had my phone ringing for freelance duties.
