A potentially dangerous disease is making a comeback and health officials want to make sure residents know how to prevent, diagnose and treat it.
Several cases of whooping cough, or pertussis, have been diagnosed in Casey County in recent months, said Christine Weyman, medical director at the Lake Cumberland District Health Department in Somerset.
And some cases have been found at schools in the Casey County School District.
