Sammy Murphy of Liberty died Friday, July 6, 2012 at his residence. He was 58.
Born Nov. 6, 1953 in Versailles, he was the son of Mable Wilson Murphy and the late James William Murphy.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Wilson Murphy; a daughter, Heather Grider of Lawrenceburg; a son, Benjamin Murphy of Frankfort; a granddaughter; six sisters; and two brothers.
Bartle Funeral Home Liberty was in charge of arrangements.
