Rebels battle emotional week, lose two games

Just days after the sudden loss of his mother, Senior Luke Carman was back on the Casey hardwood leading his team even while he mourned. Carman led the Rebel scoring, as has been the case most of the season, and showed a level of dedication that inspired his coaches and teammates.
“Luke had a remarkable game with everything he was dealing with and his teammates were the happiest people in the gym for him,” Coach Darry Burkett said. “It made me proud of the whole team.”
