  •  Timothy C. Huber, 44, of 7376 Ky. 49, was charged Friday, May 5, by Deputy Sheriff Chad G. Weddle with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second offense, meth; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The citation says while searching the residence, officers found three syringes and a meth pipe with meth residue. The renter, Jamie Cochran, had granted consent to search the home, according to the citation. Huber was advised of his rights and admitted the syringes and meth pipe were his, the citation said.
Liberty police assisted sheriff’s officers in the investigation.

  • Brian Ray Monday, 27, of 167 Wall St., was charged Saturday, May 5, by Deputy Sheriff Chad G. Weddle with second-degree fleeing or evading police on foot; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second offense, meth; and tampering with physical evidence.

The citation says Monday was a passenger in a vehicle and fled on foot during a traffic stop. He fled in a field while Weddle yelled numerous times for him to stop. According to the citation, he threw a bag of meth down in an attempt to get rid of evidence while the deputy was chasing him.
Monday had an indictment warrant against him for possession of a controlled substance and stated that is why he ran, the citation said.
