Parents charged with child abuse
A Liberty couple has been arrested on charges that they physically abused their child.
Samuel R. Lane, 28, and Cassandra Lane, 25, of 1489 Ky. 49, Liberty, were arrested by Officer Joel Quillen on Sunday at the Casey County Hospital and charged with first-degree criminal abuse, child 12-or-under, court records state.
The Lanes are accused of pulling their daughter’s hair and burning her arm with a cigarette, the citation states.
