Patricia Staton, 74

Patricia Staton of Liberty died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was 74.
Born in Casey County on May 8, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Chloe Newell Short.
She was a former employee of Casey County Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Kurt Fogle of Danville; a daughter, Kaye Monin of Brandenburg; four grandchildren, Cameron, Conner, Amelia and Sophia; a step-great-grandchild, Jack; a sister, Mary Ann Short of Richmond; and a brother, Lloyd Short of Middleburg.
