The Kentucky Department of Highways presented three alternates to correct Dry Ridge Hill, which has a steep grade and has been the site of several fatalities.
A benefit was planned for West Nile Virus survivor Brian Wardrip.
The City of Liberty proposed partnering with the Casey County schools on a new recycling program. The city would be responsible for picking up recyclables at the schools at no charge.
Liberty City Council approved changing the insurance premium tax from 4 percent to 6 percent.
