Miss Teen, Preteen crowned; Johnsons win first Mother-Daughter pageant

The 2011 Miss Apple Festival Teen and Preteen were crowned at the annual Apple Festival pageants last week, along with the winners of the new Mother-Daughter pageant.
Twelve girls, ages 8-12, competed for the title of Miss Apple Festival Preteen on Sept. 19, while 11 teenage girls, ages 13-15, sought the crown of Miss Apple Festival Teen on Sept. 20.
The Mother-Daughter pageant, which was held in conjunction with Miss Teen, drew five mother-daughter couples.
