Man indicted for theft at Country Club

A Stanford man has been indicted on burglary and theft charges of equipment from the Hickory Hills Country Club.
Brandon Christopher Schmiers, 28, of 830 East Main St., Stanford, was indicted by a Casey County Grand Jury on Friday on two counts each of third-degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking, over $10,000 and over $500. Schmiers also face four counts of first-degree being a persistent felony offender.
Indicted in the same case on similar charges was Trevor Wayne Sims, 23, of 2080 William Whitley Road, Stanford.
