Helen C. Jeffries, 86

Helen Cochran Jeffries of Edgewood died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012 at Emertius at Edgewood. She was 86.

Born in Chilton on April 15, 1925, she was the daughter of the late George Preston and Lenora Atwood Cochran.

She was a retired school teacher and taught five years in Casey County and 25 years in the Erlanger school system, where she also was a high school counselor for 15 years.

She was the widow of William Fred Jeffries.
