A former Casey County resident has been arrested in Campbellsville on charges that he killed his great-grandmother with a hammer.
Jesse James Durham, 20, of 102 Eads St., Campbellsville, formerly of 2700 Bryant Ridge Road, Liberty, was arrested on Feb. 12 and charged with murdering 77-year-old Elizabeth Arinsmier, of 105 Daisy Drive, also in Campbellsville.
Durham was released on probation from the Jessamine County Detention Center on Dec. 1 of last year after having spent less than 18 months in jail as a Level 1 non-violent offender.
