District tourney begins Monday

Monday, Feb. 20 begins the road to the KHSAA Sweet Sixteen tournament with the 47th District Tournament.
This year’s district championship will be hosted by Rockcastle County High School.

Lady Rebels
The Lady Rebels (15-12, 5-1), who lost only once to Rockcastle during the regular season district play, earned the number 1 seed. This positions them against the number 4 seed, Somerset (12-13, 2-4), whom they twice defeated by a cushion of 20-plus points.
