David Meeks, 58

David A. Meeks of Somerset, formerly of Gilpin, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at his residence. He was 58.

Born July 10, 1953, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Veber and Lucy Lawhorn Meeks. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Delno G. Meeks.

Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 18 at Trace Fork Baptist Church with Bro. Troy McGahan officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
