 — Kentucky, Tennessee fans to battle for most blood donations. Kentucky fans can give blood during the Big Blue Crush at the following locations in Liberty: Casey County Community, Thurs., Nov. 6, from noon-6 p.m., at the Casey County Extension Office in the education building at 1517 S. Wallace Wilkinson Blvd. or South Fork Creek Community Thurs., Nov. 16, from 1:30-7 p.m., at Evona Fire Dept. in the meeting room at 467 Sloan Fork. 


— A Liberty High School reunion will be noon Saturday, Oct. 28, at Central Kentucky AG/EXPO Center. Everyone is welcome. For more information, call Nancy Bastin at 606-787-4435.

— Liberty High School class of 1963 will have a reunion Saturday, Oct. 28, at 4 p.m., at Bread of Life Café.

— Casey County High School class of 1992 will have its 25th reunion at Hickory Hills Country Club on Sat., Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. There will be a Halloween theme as you may dress in costumes. For more information contact Melissa Scott Taylor or Anthony Wethington.

— Casey County Baptist Association free clothing closet is open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesdays and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays, weather permitting.

— Southern Gospel Grates world’s famous Blackwood Brothers from Memphis Tennessee will be in concert on Thursday, Nov. 2, at 6:30 p.m., CST at Egypt Christian Church in Adair County. Paul Patton and all congregations invite everyone to come worship. For more information call 270-634-4468. 

— Dunnville Fire Department will have Grain Bin Rescue Training on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 8 a.m.-3pm.

— St. Bernard’s Octoberfest will be Sat., Oct. 28, from 6-8 pm. There will be chili, vegetable soup, chicken and dumplings, hot dogs, chips, dessert, and drink all for only $5. There will be several raffles, cake booth, children’s games, pie auction, pumpkin decorating contest, and a costume contest for both adults and children. Hope many will join us! 

— Liberty First Church of God will be having a trunk or treat for all community children on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 5-7 p.m., located across from Burtons’ Service Station. 

— Mt. Calvary Baptist Church will begin Christmas play practice at 7 p.m. Saturday in the fellowship hall. Nov. 4 will be a visitation to the nursing home, and on Nov. 5 will be the Happy Travelers at 6 p.m.
