— The Casey County Apple Festival Committee will not meet in January.

— Kentucky Blood Center is holding a blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. Jan. 18 at the Casey County Extension Office in the Education Building, 1517 Wallace Wilkinson Blvd., Liberty. To schedule an appointment, or to get more information, call (800) 775-2522, ext. 3758.

— The Kentucky Blood Center will hold a South Fork Creek Community blood drive from 1:30 to 7 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Evona Fire Department, in the meeting room, 467 Sloan Fork, Liberty.

— If you have a loved one who is newly diagnosed, or if you just want to learn more about Alzheimer’s disease, this program is for you. This presentation will explore what everyone should know about memory loss issues and what they mean for all of us. The program will be held Feb. 1, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Casey County Library located at 238 Middleburg Street, Liberty, KY. To register for this program, please call 1-800-272-3900. Registration is required. Program sponsored through a generous grant from the Margaret T. Stoeckinger Foundation. Lunch and Learn.

— An Alzheimer’s support group meets at 5:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at Morning Pointe of Danville, 1375 Perryville Road in Danville. Call 859-965-1008 for information.

CHURCH

— Casey County Baptist Association free clothing closet is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, weather permitting.

— Haven of Hope Holiness Church located at 6203 KY 910 Windsor is taking Donations for the food pantry. Haven of Hope has services Sunday morning and evening at 10:30 a.m., and 6 p.m., also on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. You may call 606-706-1160 for any concerning questions.

— A fish fry will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, starting at 5 p.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church on 1547. Donations only accepted to benefit the Building Fund.

— Oak Grove Baptist Church located at 5011 Thomas Ridge Rd, Dunnville, KY 42528 will host the Association’s 5th Sunday Hymn singing at 6 p.m. Bro. Dwight Coffman the Pastor invites everyone to come and be a part of the nights signing. (Hymn singing was moved from Jan. 7 to Jan. 14, due to weather.)
