Casey County man sentenced to prison on various charges

A Casey County man was sentenced to 12-and-one-half years in prison on a variety of charges, including taking a calf, chickens and running over a cat.
Randy Allen Vaughn, 42, of 7685 West Ky. 70, Liberty, appeared before Special Judge Doughlas George in Casey Circuit Court on Jan. 23 on two counts of first-degree criminal mischief, three counts of theft by unlawful taking, third-degree criminal trespassing, second-degree cruelty to animals, two counts of third-degree burglary, and third-degree arson.
