Casey County Board of Health adopts tax rate

The Casey County Board of Health adopted a 4.3-cents-per-$100 tax rate and approved the 2012-2013 budget during its annual meeting on Friday.
Lake Cumberland District Health Department Executive Director Shawn Crabtree presented the Board the budget with the same tax rate as last year.
LCDHD provides administrative services to Casey and nine other health departments.
Crabtree said cuts are looming from state and federal sources.
