Annetta V. Hodge, 90

Annetta Viola Hodge of Stanford died Friday, Feb. 17, 2012 at her home. She was 90. 

Born Oct. 17, 1921 in Judyville, Ind., she was the daughter of the late William Clyde and Lucy Drucella Barwick Auter. 

She was the widow of Hulon Hodge. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethelridge Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children, Billy Hodge (and special friend, Myrtle Edwards) of Somerset, Allen Hodge of Mondicello, Ind., Jerry Hodge of Stanford, Elizabeth Trosper of Stanford, Hazel Mosley of Somerset, Betty Adams of Stanford, Nadine Warren (and Ralph) of Somerset, Alberta Lawson (and Fred) of Lafayette, Ind., Wilma Harness (and Warren) of Danville, Ind., Mary Slone (and Billy) of Mt. Salem, Sarah Vangordon (and Gary) of Stanford, Josephine West (and Bobby) of Nancy, and June Payton (and Chuck) of Middleburg; two sisters, Violet Brown of Lafayette, Ind, and Verna Bartlett of Muncie, Ind; 24 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 33 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Overley; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services were Feb. 20 with Rev. Kevin Pittman officiating. Burial was in Bethelridge Cemetery.

Spurlin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
